Mainline Scientific will begin exhibiting its Emanant™ Molecular Interaction Analyzer, a robust, cost-effective solution that helps researchers understand how biological system components interact. An ideal tool for research success, this system is applicable to any biological and/or chemical systems that cause a refractive index change as a result of the interactions being studied. 

For researchers which have not found a suitable tool for monitoring binding events, this system can be a real enabler.  The cost-effective system can be used to monitor events in biological systems involving lipids, cell membranes and GPCRs.  It can also monitor events such as general protein-protein interactions, receptor-ligand binding, drug-receptor binding, and antigen-antibody binding. The system is surface sensitive and allows the possibility of analyzing events happening within a few hundred nanometers adjacent to the prism surface.
